She had to switch schools from Northlands to Hill House. She enrolled later at Queen's Gate School in which she took ballet classes and was involved in school-based plays. When she dropped out of school at the age of 16 and pursuing a full-time acting profession. Taylor-Joy was always aware her goal was to become an actor. This was achieved when Sarah Doukas founder of Storm Management provided Taylor-Joy with a modelling job.
